Sorry for the long delay between posts, however life tends to throw monkey wrenches into your plans, regardless of how well you, well, plan them.
As we are halfway into August, we have seen Romney emerge as the GOP contender for the Presidency. He has selected Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan as his choice for the Vice President. Romney has been hampered by accusations that he isn't conservative enough for the GOP, while the Democrats have tried to paint him as an elitist, aloof to the plight of the middle class. Ryan brings a fresh shot of conservative juice to the ticket.
With the campaigns in full swing, we are already seeing the mud-slinging and dirty politics that have become synonymous with the American electoral process. Will this descend into a playground fight between the two bullies or will one party actually address the issues facing our nation?
The economy tops the CSS list of "most important issues" this election season. Job creation/job matching has been discussed in the political circles of Washington, and even touched on by the main-stream media but neither candidate has put forth any substantive plan dealing with this issue.
It's high time we as voters start demanding answers from our elected officials instead of swallowing the Kool-Aid that is being bottle fed to us every night by CNN, Fox, and the other propaganda outlets.
We have a voice, it's time we used it.
